Here are the 10 things I would do if I just finished school this year
1. Get a job as a night club promoter and get paid to party all summer.
I would do this to save money and get paid to party, most of your money over the summer will go on social events, this will help you save more money while increasing your social status and confidence.
Get out and see new places, new things and meet new people, so many people never do this or leave it to too late (i wish I went overseas sooner). This will open up you to new possibilities that you may not have ever considered before
3. Try new things.
This is huge! I would have never fallen in love with boxing or martial arts or even Djing if I never made the decision to try them, I never knew when I finished school that I would do so many cool things or try so many different things or develop so many new interests and hobbies. It all comes from forcing yourself to try new things and yes when you try something new it is uncomfortable, especially socially, however the more new things you try, the more confident you become with this. I remember I had an old friend who used to DJ and he stopped because he was in a relationship and had a kid and I remember him saying,” I just don’t know what to do these days and I remember asking him….what have you tried? “He looked at me with a puzzled face and replied..” nothing”. You never know what you may end up liking and you may end up not liking some things which is ok, even if you spend years with it like a university degree (I spent 12 months learning how to code a platform because i told myself it was the only way to be able to do what I wanted at the time to then have a new software come out that could do what I wanted and just stopped and went with the new software. Better to move on than to waste time complaining or being upset, I also had no idea to code when I started, but just started YouTubing and now I can knock out websites in a couple of hours and have an understanding of it when talking to people in business these days so I don’t get screwed.) but until you go and try something you will never know. Just make sure when you try something new you don’t beat yourself up because you arent any good at the start….NO ONE IS!
4. Start making plans.
Start making plans for your life and trust me they are going to change as you get older even though you think they won’t right now. These plans should include short term, medium, and long term goals, make sure they are your own and not your friends or family’s plans for you and make sure they are not all serious!
5. Move for 6 months to somewhere new.
Omg just do it! Even if you do it by yourself, (I do it all the time, as i mentioned in “try new things” the more you do it the easier it gets.) it doesn’t have to be overseas but moving to the city or even another city is one of the best ways to open up your world, meet new people and get yourself out of your comfort zone, this is REALLY good if you are finding yourself in a negative environment such as people doing things you don’t want to do.
6. Start studying a high income skill, day trading, selling on Amazon and real estate investing.
No matter what you want to do or have no idea about what you want to do, (lets be honest who fucking does when you finish school and if you do you are extremely lucky) go and learn about these things! a high income skill is something you can charge a minimum of $100 for an hour (Mine is DJing and if you want to learn how to DJ and the business side of it, get my course!) Day trading is an awesome skill to learn that can make you some great money, one product on Amazon done properly can make you hundreds of thousands of dollars and the sooner you can learn about real estate the better (I started learning about it at 22 and am only just getting into it now). You don’t need to be an entrepreneur or a big shot to do well in life. You can work any job you want and learn to put the money you make into things like real estate and other assets like products on amazon.
7. Read a book called “The Game” and men’s dating and personal development books.
I wish someone told me about this book earlier. If you haven’t read it, read it and then start googling other dating books and business’s it will be one of the best things you do in your life i like a company called The Attractive Man. There are two types of guys in this world, guys who are good with women and guys that are useless. Fortunately, it is all stuff that anyone can learn and the sooner you learn it the better your life will become… trust me!
8. Get ripped
OMG I WISH I did this sooner! Get to the gym and get on a program, I’ve been fat and I’ve been ripped and I can tell you now it is DEFINITELY worth the time and struggle! It also increases your confidence like you wouldn’t believe and yes anybody can do it!
9. Save my money
I totally wish I saved my money more sooner and every person older than you will tell you the same.
10. Become as valuable to as many people as possible.
When you’re young it is your attitude, hard work ethic and personality that will attract to you great opportunities. If you have these things then you can learn all the rest and when you are young these are the principles that will build your foundations for success. So have a good attitude and work fucking hard and become as valuable to as many people as possible with work and resources, it is this reputaion and network that you build when you are young that will deliver you business opportunities when you are older, just make sure you learn to create strong boundaries so that people do not start trying to take advantage of you.
So there are the 10 things I would do if I just finished school, hopefully something in there may be of value to you!
